TATE SEEDS

THESE ARE THE SEEDS FROM THE TATE MODERN IN LONDON.

I HAVEN'T BEEN YET, BUT APPARENTLY THERE IS OVER 100 MILLION SUNFLOWER SEEDS THAT ARE ALL PORCELAIN. THE BBC RECENTLY REPORTED THAT, ALTHOUGH THE ARTIST REQUESTED OTHERWISE, YOU CANNOT STEP ON THEM BECAUSE, 

"Although porcelain is very robust, the enthusiastic interaction of visitors has resulted in a greater than expected level of dust in the hall."

TO BE HONEST I AGREE WITH THE FOLLOWING QUOTE MADE BY THE BBC ARTS EDITOR:

"Standing or kneeling at the rim will be a bit like looking at an empty picture frame instead of one that actually has a picture in it”

Gosh, I have not written this blog for aaages, and the posts that I have done have been a bit dull, so I shall update on what has been happening recently.

I have visited the Tate for a completely useless look at mostly dodgy paintings (screw modern art!)

I have recently (within the last hour or so, that is)become almost as obsessed with the Killers as a certain friend of mine.

And oh how hot the lead singer is!

Vincey Van Gogh.

Since watching the Doctor Who episode 'Vincent and the Doctor' I have been somewhat inspired by the masterpieces that he painted, and the way you can see his brush strokes on the page (or canvas)
