At school - oh, I'm a devil.

Kitty over shoulder. She told me to say that.
Heard this this morning, and have it stuck in my head.
Thank you Florence, you've given me another song to get stuck in my head all day
As I wrote the title, Kitty just said 'Rebel!'
So bye guys.
School time :)

baby i hate days like this, when it rains...

gosh, sorry again about the whole neglecting thing but:
a) theres the whole thing about tumblr,
b) i've been really disorganised of late,
c) it has been so wet, i really couldn't be arsed. sorry :(

as you may have gathered, in england it is SO wet, and yesterday it felt like i was in the middle of a mini-hurricane around blackheath which ended in me and my friend being completely drenched.

this was at about 4:00pm, and my clothes were not dry till about 8:00pm.

do you understand the scale of things now?

i've been cheating on you...

you may have noticed (if you've actually been following this blog...) that i'm not posting as much as i used to, and thats because i have started another blog (i know, its like i've been having an affair with all the guilt).

if anyones interested its called 'no more calling like a crow' (which is dedicated, as you may have noticed to the lyric from my favourite song off Flo + the machine's album 'Blinding')

heres the url: www.nomorecallinglikeacrow.tumblr.com

Cool Songs

The Bike Song by Mark Ronson and the Business Intl.
Last Ones Standing by Example
Crossfire by Brandon Flowers
One (Your Name) by Swedish House Mafia feat. Pharell

These are genuinely the only songs I like that are around at the moment. (If I find anything else, I'll let you guys know, but for now...)

And another thing, if you leave a comment saying "but what about Olly Murs/Alexandra Burke/anybodyfromxfactorincludingjls?" then I swear I shall slap you. (ok, maybe a virtual slap - agression is not encouraged here...)

But seriously... do you realise how much crap Simon Cowell and his record label is feeding you (and taking from your wallet?)
Instead buy wonderfulness like MIKA, MUSE, Florence and the machine, the Killers and Avril Lavigne!!!
Sorry for the shameless advertising of my favourite bands, but they are amazing.

I thought they were different, but now it turns out that the Bike Song may be an advertisement for Boris Johnson's Bike Hire schemey thing he has going on. So thanks Boris. You had to ruin things again.

Anyway, got to go now to have a yummy dinner of Linda McCartney's Country pies and new potatoes!
mmmm...

Omg, I am totally in love with Jay from the Wanted!

Anyway, I wanted to list a couple of songs I like atm because there are virtually no good songs out at the moment!

  • Grace Potter and the Nocturnals - Paris (Ooh la la)
  • The Pretty Reckless - Miss Nothing
  • Florence and the Machine - Swimming
      • Are You Hurting The One You Love?
      • Postcards from Italy (cover)
      • Throwing Bricks
      • The Bird Song
Today I went to Broadstairs with some friends - the weather was lovely, we visited the Dickens House Museum and we had a great time getting completely soaked!
