ok, I bet at this very moment, as you came to this post there was only one thing you were wondering - who is this dapper character to the left of my screen?


It is Darren Criss.
and he is my latest muse.

reasons to love him:
1. taught himself how to play the guitar, piano and drums


2. has a stunning singing voice


3. composes musicals in his spare time (he wrote all of the music for the Youtube phenomenom 'A Very Potter Musical'


4. is a supporter of LGBT and plays Kurt's boyfriend in Glee.


5. was only meant to be a temporary character but received such great response from the audience that for Season 3 has been promoted to a full time character.

6. likes Disney films, (this was proved early in his career when he set up a Youtube channel performing Disney hits such as the Little Mermaid's 'Part of Your World') and after performing 'I'll Make A Man Out of You' from Mulan said, "that is such a great song - I like listening to that when I'm working out."





7. actually sounds better without autotune, as was showed during his solo EP 'Human'


8. Looks good with long, untamably curly hair, short locks of hair and when gelled back when playing Blaine in Glee.

10. even though he's 24 he managed to look 17 pretty easily.

11.  his signature look of pink sunglasses somehow manages to look heterosexual on him, even though it would make a girl assume gayness on anybody else.


12. after seeing lots of things with him in, you will except nothing less in a man than, well, Darren Criss. (oops, I should've mentioned all of this before you read all of these wonderful things about him. sorry.)

His rendition of Katy Perry's 'Teenage Dreams' was the fastest selling track by Glee, selling 55,000 singles on iTunes in the first day, and was the second to reach no. 1 in the American Billboard, only after their highly successful cover of Journey's 'Don't Stop Believin'. For me personally, he made me like a whole lot of songs, one of which being Teenage Dreams that I hadn't liked before.

16. Oh yeah, and he is REALLY short. Its been the topic of many a discussion among fans, as it is thought that Chris Colfer is 5"10 (which, to be frank, is pretty short for a man who only just had a growth spurt) and Darren, who is at an age where he's not very likely to do any more growing, is at least an inch or two shorter than Chris.
